Bring a friend, bring a date, or your inner child. Let’s dance and build community.
Light bites + drinks provided. No prior experience needed! Just bring yourself and an open heart.
About our Dance Guides:
Isabelle (they/them) is a community and collective justice oriented dance teacher who was born and raised in Oakland and a proud first generation immigrant. Their class is focused on centering movement as it was originally intended- as medicine, not punishment. Isabelle invites all of you to the dance floor for ass shaking, laughing, releasing, and some much need screaming!
Naomi (she/her/ella) is a soulful artist, engaging facilitator, and community-curator. She specializes in creating artful wellness spaces for BIPOC adults. After 10 years of teaching, she opened her own business: That Art Party, art and play for BIPOC adults, as a means of healing and liberation for communities of color. She first started dancing in San Francisco Carnaval before she was even old enough for school - dance is a legacy of light and love.
